PRIDA is a project of Comité Noviembre. Our mission is to promote and provide support for the Puerto Rican arts and the artists.

Our website, PRIDA.ORG contains information about PRIDA and Comite Noviembre – who we are and why we exist, an events page listing upcoming events that you can participate in, listing of membership benefits with a membership directory and individual member pages, funding for the arts – listing of foundations, agencies and organizations that provide funding in the arts for individuals and organizations in NY and other states. CALL FOR ARTISTS


We have a few projects to launch. First, we want to produce a PRIDA Artists Exhibition so we are calling on all artist members to sign up to help produce a group exhibition showcasing the work of PRIDA artists. Caicedo Productions and Teatro LATEA present the 8th Annual The ONE Festival. This exciting festival begins on April 1st through April 14th, 2013. Submissions are currently being accepted until February 18, 2013. This annual event will showcase theatrical solo performance works from men and women.

5th Annual Taíno Awards – April 20, 2013 at the Bronx Museum of Arts on Grand Concourse in the Bronx. A Taíno themed artisan fair is part of the event, PRIDA members $45 all others $50.

Bronx Literary Festival, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Poe Park in the Bronx. Tables available for $35. Tables come with 2 chairs. if you’re a writer, small press, bookstore, or musician with CDs and are interested send an email to Americo Casiano at poetacasiano@yahoo.com.
